Blaine Soccer Club

• All players planning on playing for BSC in 2016/17 need to register for tryouts
• All players trying out to play up an age group need to record their intention on the registration form
• All Goalkeepers need to attend GK tryouts and at least 1 field session during tryouts, where they will play in goal or on the field to get evaluated
• Players born 2007 and older will have an opportunity to select their uniform number
• 3 number choices are available but BSC can only guarantee one of these choices
• Players born in 2008 will be assigned a uniform number
• Player born in 1998 will be considered for the U19 team.  Click here for more info.
• If you do not wish to play in FALL please record this in your registration
• Team plans will be available July 1st, 2016 for the 2016/17 season.

This season we will be using fields A1-A4 and B1 and B2 for tryouts. These rested fields are some of the best on the NSC Complex and we hope to give players the best possible chance to showcase their ability.

Check In for Tryouts is required before the tryout begins. 

Check In will occur in the Gradient Financial Center. Signage will be posted to show the correct location.

It is recommended for everyone to follow the check-in schedule below:

• Check-In 1 hour before your posted tryout time
• Check- In and try on the new BSC uniforms
• Go to Field A4 30 minutes prior to the posted tryout start time
• Warmup on field A4 15 minutes prior to the posted start time

On arrival at Try-Outs Players should do their own warm up until the group is called.

All evaluations will take place during soccer games, small sided or otherwise.

During Try-Outs it is requested that all parents that stay away from the playing surfaces as tryout games are proceeding.

The team of evaluators is made up of High School Coaches from various high schools, paid travel coaches, Coaching Directors from other clubs and former college, high school and travel players.
