BSC relies on volunteer coaches to manage teams, conduct practices and communicate with families. Through their hard work and dedication, volunteer coaches can help give the kids the lead a great experience where they can't wait to come back season after season. In most cases volunteer coaches are a parent with a kid on the team, which is a great opportunity to create lasting memories between parent and child.

Coaching Resources

We understand that not everybody has the same background and experience with soccer and so BSC supports our volunteer coaches by scheduling practices and games, offering coach education programs, distributing sample practice plans, guidance from BSC Coaching Staff and providing coach equipment such as cones and pinnies.
 

Coach Expectations

• Be a positive role model and promote good sportsmanship
• Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to practices and games
• Communicate any updates or team news to your families in a timely manner through Team Snap
• Ensure players receive equal playing time and experience playing in every position
• Have fun and create a safe and enjoyable environment for all players
